Reading

I'm reading John Levitt's "Dog Days" at the moment. One of the secondary characters in this book is gay and it made me suddenly crave gay stories again! I checked my GoodReads list and boy, it's been so long since I read a real gay book like one of Ally Blue's or J. M. Snyder's or Sean Michael's or... Wow, I'm literally drooling here! Once I finish Levitt's book, I will take a break from all the paranormal/fantasy stuff and read a simple gay romance *nods*

Ooh! Good plan. I have to say, I totally panned Tin Star a few weeks ago when I reviewed it, but I cannot stop thinking about it. Apparently I liked it more than I thought I did, because I've been wishing for a sequel...

Also? *iconlove*

I liked Tin Star just fine. It was a no-brainer, very Harlequin-ish :P And there is a sequel - about the sheriff, I think :)

And I'm happy that you like the icon. Sexy men are swoon-worthy!

Yeah, that's the thing I think that threw me about Tin Star, the Harlequin quality of it. I had been thinking it would be more....rounded, maybe? That it would have more details about the place and setting and...but I think if I just considered it as a Harlequin, it was pretty darn fun. I should probably update my review.

And I'd definitely read the sequel, even though I didn't necessarily like the sheriff in the original. I'd rather read about Jamie's brother and sister, and the aunt and Bill, and the tack shop owner. They were all pretty fun supporting characters. Do you happen to remember the name of the sequel?

Sounds like a good plan to me, petal ^_~!

I hope so *crosses fingers* My boss tends to stuff me with books for reviewing these days.
