Don't forget!

The new show The Mentalist starts on CBS tonight, dear folks, don't forget. I saw the pre-aired pilot and it was all kinds of awesome! And also, it has a new ep of NCIS as a lead-in. Isn't that just great?

I decided to drop Heroes. S1 was okay, S2 bored me to tears and spoilers for S3 just left me feeling meh about the whole series. After The Sarah Connor Chronicles, it's another Monday show gone for me. All I will watch on Monday is Chuck then :)

I gave up on Heroes on season 2. I tried but the show didn't hold my attention.

The show is too soap-opera-ish for me these days. And besides, I have so many other shows to watch *eyes her still unwatched DVD collection*

...*giggle* I just find it interesting that people find season 2 boring 'cause that's what got me into the show.

I am so very torn about NCIS though, it's on on the same time slot as House!!! I DON'T WANT TO HAVE TO PICK.

For me, the action in Heroes got way too slow in S2. And then it became even more a soap opera. Too bad.

I'm downloading the stuff so I don't have this problem but I feel your pain, girl *pets*

Yeah I can see how that would do that. I'm a freak though and love the soap opera stuff (it's in my dna I swear, my dad loves his soap).

Well I watched the premiere of NCIS (I just couldn't wait because TEAM) and then dl House but it was still kinda painful and I kept flipping back during commercials. Stupid competing time slots, I love you all!

Speaking of shows I just started in on Life and I'm really enjoying it. Did you ever watch it?

I don't know that show. What is it about? Life, I mean ;)

[identity profile] bendtothesun.livejournal.com 2008-09-25 07:30 am (UTC)(link)
Well the answer of course is 42. ;)

Life is about a police detective that got arrested for a crime he didn't commit and spent 12 years in jail for it. He got out and is just coming back onto the force as a detective while trying to solve what actually happened.

And that was kinda a bad description but I would def. recommend watching the first epi. I did it out of boredom actually and was actually quite surprised at how much I really liked it (watched the first four epis in one sitting!).

I might give it a try since I'm dropping some shows that I used to watch this year...

I tried The Mentalist. I like it, however it comes on at the same time as Fringe does. I guess maybe I'll alternate weeks so I can watch each.

I tried to watch Fringe but I just couldn't get into it. The characters didn't grab me like the ones in The Mentalist did. I hope that TM will do well in ratings and that they will pick it up for a full series.
