Will Reaper do better or worse in SPN's slot?

Some time ago, I would have said that Reaper would do worse. Not by terribly much, but definitely worse. Now, I'm not so sure...

Last night's repeat of Reaper brought in 1.89 mil. viewers and 0.7/2 demo going against the repeat of NCIS and an original ep of American Idol. The last repeated episode of Supernatural - on Jan 24th - went against the repeats of both Grey's Anatomy and CSI and brought in only 1.84 mil. viewers and 0.7/2 demo...

I'm NOT saying that I don't want Reaper to succeed. Although I'm not a fan, I know that there are fans of this show on my flist and to be honest, Reaper and Supernatural would fit together perfectly, better than either of those shows and Smallville. But I don't want it to succeed at the expense of SPN because if the CW should pick just one of the two, guess which one they would choose?

The Reaper repeats are in the 8 p.m. slot right now though? I think 8ish shows are mostly doing a bit better than 9 pm shows unless you have giants like Grey`s, CSI etc.

I'm mostly concerned about the fact that it got such great numbers going against a powerhouse like AI. I mean, I wouldn't mind seeing the Repear-SPN combo on Thursdays because these two shows do fit best together on the CW network.

I've only seen a couple of episodes of Reaper but I really like it so far, so I want them both to survive!

I unfortunately don't like the characters and the humor is kinda too piggish for my liking. I like intelligent, verbal humor more than the slapstick kind.

I totally agree with you. As much as I like Reaper, I love Supernatural even more.

I think that Reaper at 8 and SPN at 9 would be a good combo though. Both shows deal with the supernatural but Reaper is mild/funny enough for 8 pm.
