The three most touching anime moments

Give me the three most touching, memorable moments you have seen in an anime!

My choices?

1. Sailor Moon: The episode where the Wise Man kills Sapphire when the prince tries to warn his brother Diamond of Wise Man's machinations. And when Diamond then picks up Sapphire's dead body and disappears... Wah! I cried like a little kid, really. I thought it rather unfair that only these two of all the baddies in this anime weren't revived :(

2. Ouran High School Host Club: "Kyoya! Mon ami! Bravo!" Tamaki jumping up and down, totally excited about Kyoya agreeing to accompany Tamaki on his adventures through Japan :D

3. Fruits Basket: The episode where Momiji told Tohru the story of the generous wanderer, who gave up his whole body to other people, until he didn't even have eyes to cry. The sad Momiji and the whole situation in which he was telling it to Tohru made me cry and even now, after all these years, I find that scene gut-wrenching.

Now, I need you to tell me what you liked best! Post it here or in your LJ. Lets create a new meme - it's Friday after all :D

You beast I should be in bed and soundly sleeping, but I think I will answer.Soooooooo what touched my cold heart.

1. Sailor Moon: Death of Zoisite (speaking about male) in arms of his beloved. I was devastated and it was so touching and that despair of his lover crushed me. I love KunziteXZoisite pairing they were magnificent together. Well I did not find the scene on the youtube...sooooooo I think everybody here knows it anyway

2. Gundam Wing : Death of Treize. I still think It would be better to let Zechs to kill him but anyway his death was mourned by me. He was smart, he was handsome and he knew what to do and he had style even in his death.1 (http://youtube.com/watch?v=KOqYKR7QF0c) and 2 (http://youtube.com/watch?v=u-g2-3DsM5k)

3. Utena: Adolescence Mokushiroku : Dance in the rose garden with stars above girls and that lovely music. It got me. It was very nice. (http://youtube.com/watch?v=04TumQDi7aI)

Anime moments? *too many to name* Fruits Basket is definitely a noteworthy series. As is One Piece, despite its goofy moments. Hmm... and Eyeshield 21? (Again despite its goofy moments. XD)

Here are a few of mine. ^____^

1. In the X/1999 series, when Kamui and Fumma pass each other in the schoolyard, I always get chills. It's a touching moment to me, because I know what's coming up, and I always cry. The ending of the movie gets to me, too. I have a strong fondness for best friend relationships.

2. Building on what I just said, episode 17 of Gankutsuou has a moment that is very touching for me, but I can't say exactly what it is because it's a huge spoiler. I'll just say that one friend makes a huge sacrifice for another, and I adore him for it.

3. I have to have at least one totally happy one. ^_^ Episode 112 of Prince of Tennis has a great scene when Ohtori glomps Shishido after spending all night practicing his scud serve. Again, it's a great moment between two close friends.

Your second point in the list is one of my favourites as well. Tamaki and Kyouya really have this unique relationship. Another of these moments might be the whole situation of Kyouya 'lost' in the department store. I'll never forget that one for sure. But apart from that I came up with these:

1. Blood+: *can't do this without SPOILERS* Riku's death really moved me to tears. It was unexpected and the way it was done was brutal. I'm glad that the series managed to recover some of the close 'family' feeling that Riku stood for in the end.

2. Black Blood Brothers: There is this scene in ep 4 where Mimiko convinces Jirou to suck her blood to help him to get Kotarou back. There is a lot of sexual energy in this scene and it's the beginning of a fragile bond between them which Jirou manages to disrupt with his 'delicious virgin blood' comment. Hot and hilarious.

3. Princess Princess: Yuujirou's surprise kiss with Touru. I mean, Yuujirou grabbing Touru in front of Mikoto and his cousin and giving him a shockingly passionate kiss is unforgettable. The shocked faces of everyone present and even of Touro himself really make one memorable moment.

I'm a little behind on my flist reading, but I want to play, too!

1. One Piece. Drum Island Arc. When the Doctorine blew off the canons and the Doctor's invention (his dream) stuck to the snow, creating a giant sakura tree, with the pink snow leaves falling gently to the ground. Every time I see that part, my heart wrenches and I bawl like Chopper.

2. Full-Metal Panic! When Sousuke goes on the mission that takes him back to his guerilla homeland and the team he's with fights for possession of the nuclear weapon - and he's the only survivor. As he's leaving the area, alone, dragging the weapon behind, I'm gutted.

3. Hunter x Hunter. At the very end of the anime, Leorio calls Kurapica on his cell phone, even though he's sitting not more than twenty feet away on an park bench. Undeniably romantic and perfect. (Which should have lead to a clinch and kiss, but the show's not shonen-ai, sadly.)

3.5 and 3.6 and 3.7 Three scenes from Bleach that are memorable in the way that makes me go OMG This is SO COOL: the first time we see Ichigo in BanKai, when he meets up with Rukia during the first rescue attempt and says "I'm here to rescue you" in a true manly, heroic fashion, and when he rescues Rukia the second time, stopping the phoenix with a simple block of his sword, and all he says is "Yo." No wonder he's my cartoon boyfriend. *swoon*

That scene in Fruits Basket is a heart-wrencher too. I think it plays better in the manga, as there's more build up to it with the darker shadings within the zodiac family and how brightly Tohru shines for them.
