Honestly, I like that so many are short. The long ones take forever to get subbed, if they get subbed at all. At least with the short ones, chances are we'll see all the episodes. There's also a chance that they may get picked up for a second season, like Meine Liebe did.

That's true. But on the other hand, there is not too much room to develop the characters. That's why I'm happy that Utawarerumono has 24 and xxxHolic maybe even more! I love these anime *beams*
