Reading the WCwriters' Twitter, I experienced a light-bulb moment of my own... Regarding the WhiCo S1 finale, that is.

Review: A ST:TNG tie-in. Boring. The characters behaved very out of character compared to their TV-selves and the story just dragged on and on and on. Maybe if this was a short story, it would have worked, but as it was - nope, not really. Too many characters in peril meant too many scenes with just one crew member doing... something... to show that he was in peril. I know that the author probably thought the book needed some world-building but it felt mostly tiresome. I even skipped a page here or there and I didn't miss anything, the story was still understandable. I was glad when I finished it. Won't be re-reading it in the future, that's for sure.

An interview with a Supernatural guest star

DigitalSpy posted an interview with a certain Supernatural guest star. Beware, if you go to the article, you'll be spoiled for the name of the guest star and for the role they are playing. And it's a HUGE spoiler!

But why am I posting this. There were some cute tidbits about Jared and Jensen that were totally not spoilery so...

They (Jared and Jensen) have reputations as being practical jokers – were you on the receiving end of any pranks?!
"No, not on the end of them but they did have us in stitches on more than one occasion! They sort of riff off each other, it's quite interesting. They seem to be a perfect pairing in terms of casting, and seem to do a lot together, even getting married at around the same time! It's an interesting scenario, but I guess that tends to happen if you like the person you're working with and you've been working with them for about five years basically daily and for long hours. Thank God they are friends because life would be awful for them!"

Cute! I don't care about their personal lives but I love to hear guest stars talking about filming with them, about what they are like - behind the scenes but still related to the show! That's the sort of articles I love :)
