Okay, that was... boring. Brownie points for the amazing female characters, Yukio and Mariko - especially Yukio - and the end credit scene. The fight scenes were passable. But the rest? Eh. Just... eh. The plot was convoluted and didn't really make any sense, and the filling between the fights was downright boring.

OMG, Yukio kicked ass. I just adored the way she slashed everything to pieces and made herself Logan's bodyguard. That was great. Mariko was great too just in other ways, she was really elegant and composed, a real lady.

Who annoyed me to no end was the ghost of Jean. Like really? Does Logan really think that Jean, the real Jean, would want him to die? Oh God, that made me so, so angry!

Didn't really understand the motivations of Harada and Viper. They served the grandpa but... Eh. And the grandpa himself, the whole thing with Mariko and her father. Eh. Didn't really care about any of that.

But the end credit scene! Erik! Charles! Them working together, all powerful again. Gosh, I love it when Charles uses his power. It's not as flashy as Erik's but when he does use it, I start emitting dolphin noises!

I would rate it 5/10, weakest of all the movies I've seen this year.
