OMG, the evil witch is gone! *faint with relief* I could not stand Hunter one more episode. So much awesome stuff happened in this ep, yet my reaction is mostly "SHE'S GONE, SHE'S GONE, SHE'S GONE" ad infinitum. I absolutely did not get why she split Sam&Callen and Deeks&Kensi and sent Callen on a wild goose chase, other than because she could. Was it a power trip for her? She separated them and they were all so worried about their absent partners that it was almost all they could think about. And then, because of that mess, their CI got killed and a whole building blew up and and all she had to say was that it never got boring with them? Seriously?! OMG and good riddance! I hope we never, ever see her again.
What I did like was how worried everybody was about their respective partners. It was so incredibly sweet. Callen's "I should be there." Kensi and her realization that regardless of her fake annoyance with Deeks, she liked him best as a partner. That was great.
I love that the relationship between Peter and Walter is all good again. They are so incredibly sweet together. Peter's gentle smile every time Walter says something amusing. Walter's worry about his son. Aww...
What I do not like much is how the writers keep sabotaging the relationship between Peter and Olivia. There's always something pushing them apart. And it's not something small that can be talked out and forgotten, but huge obstacles! Like Peter murderig the shapeshifters. Or William Bell taking residence inside Olivia... It's starting to feel like a bad soap opera: I slept with your evil twin and you now have another personality inside you.
