Watching The Magnificent Seven
Seriously, peeps, I can't even begin to explain to you just how much I love this show. Imagine me bouncing around the room with stars in my eyes - that's how much I love it. I simply want to roll in the pretty!
The Collector: Nettie Wells and her niece Casey rocked my socks, seriously. When you compare these two amazing female characters with the always anxious looking Mary Travis... Ha! I want to be like Nettie when I grow up *_*
JD/Casey must be my favorite pairing on this show. She's so smitten with him and he's so oblivious. And Buck as their "love coach", LOL!
But my favorite part was Vin's relationship with Nettie, that she reminded him of his ma. I loved the way he treated her, like a real lady.
And the funniest part? Ezra and Buck trying to light the dynamite. LOL! Or Chris having no idea who the guy was who was after him. He was like "Who IS this guy?! *hands*" Ha!
Manhunt: Awesome episode! It always gets me that it was the preacher, even after so many times I've seen this episode.
It was so great that we got find out more about Vin's background, that he used to live with an Indian tribe where he learned how to track. And that his past experience allowed him to understand Chanu better. I loved the ending, when Chanu gave Vin his pouch...
Another great thing was that Chris took it personally that Buck and Ezra didn't trust Vin and his instincts.
And the funniest part was Josiah and Ko-Je. Ron Perlman is simply amazing!
Inmate 78: This was a Chris heavy episode but I admit I mostly ffwded through the prison stuff - I can't watch series that take place in prison. I've never seen Oz or Prison Break because prisons in general make me highly uncomfortable. I just can't watch it.
I loved how pissed Buck was, first at the sheriff, then at the store owner when they found Chris' gun. But I loved how they all deferred to Vin and let him make the decisions. One touch by him was enough to calm Buck down. Man, I can't actually remember ever seeing Vin angry on this show...
My favorite scene was the one in the bar, when the sheriff strode in with the warrant for Vin's arrest, when he started saying that he was there just to arrest Vin, that obviously, the others didn't know that Vin was wanted for murder in Texas etc. and so on - and they all just grinned at him and told him that yeah, they did know. Ha!
