Faith

"Today at the clinic, Neal told me that I was the only person he trusted," Peter said to El that night in bed.

She snuggled closer to him. "You sound... disturbed," she observed.

He sighed. "How do you... How do you live up to faith like that?" he asked, slightly distraught.

She patted his chest and smiled. "You do your best, honey, you do your best."

I love El and her pearls of wisdom.

I'm liking El very much so far. (I'm through the first nine episodes.) I wish more female characters were written like her. She's a strong character, but she doesn't overpower Peter and Neal.

El rocks! It's too bad that they had to dial down her part in the 2nd half of the season because the actress was pregnant and started showing and she was contracted for 12 eps only. I hope that we see much more of her in S2!
