Reasons: I just discovered Meansprite and I can't get enough of her reading. I just love her accent and how absolutely noise-free her podfics are :)

Rec: A short SPN story, "Oh, it is love" by fleshflutter, a Sam/Dean ficlet. I just love Dean's freakout in this one :P

Reader: Lunate8

Fandoms: White Collar, SGA, various RPF etc.

Reasons: Great voice, great reading, clean recordings. Exactly what I look for when I want to download and listen to a podfic :)

Rec: The fic I want to rec isn't hosted in Jinjurly's archive. It's the WhiCo podbang "Jeffrey Nullier’s 'Man With Fedora'" by sam_storyteller, a fascinating gen case story!

Reader: Exmanhater

Reasons: I discovered Exmanhater's reading only a short while ago but I was instantly smitten. The fact that she seems to like the Dean/Castiel pairing helped, of course :P

Rec: "Holding Hands with a God" by scaramouche, one of the best Cas/Dean AU stories out there!

Reasons: I just love the stories Crinklysolution reads. And her voice reminds me so much of Zabira's, which is fantastic!

Rec: "Crush" by sonofabiscuit77, a fantastic Sam/Dean SPN AU story - and LONG! 7+ hours long!

Reader: Nu_breed

Fandoms: Supernatural, Merlin, RPS etc.

Reasons: Although Nu_breed's recordings sound rather mono to everybody else's stereo, I love her voice and I love the stories she chooses to read. Every one of them is special in some way...

Rec: "Have You Seen Him Whom My Soul Loves" by veronamay, one of the best - and saddest - Jared/Jensen CWRPS AU stories out there, hands down.

Reader: Cath

Fandoms: Supernatural, Queer As Folk US, SGA etc.

Reasons: I love Cath's reading, her voice is so soft, almost velvety. Her recordings are clear, no disturbing noises of any kind. And the stories she chooses - man, I'm smitten with most of them!

Rec: "Nosce Te Ipsum" by rei_c, a CWRPS AU, Jared/Jensen. This fic stayed with me for days, if not weeks, it had such an impact on me.

Reader: Toomuchplor

Fandoms: SGA

Reasons: Toomuchplor has read only two podfics in the past, two of her own, but they are both awesome, the stories and her reading, worth downloading and listening to.

Rec: "Waiting For My Real Life To Begin", definitely. This is my favorite SGA future fic because I can so see it happening, Rodney and Jennifer breaking up because a) she's in her 20s, he's 40 and b) they have absolutely nothing in common. Neither of them is portrayed as a bad person, they just don't fit together.

Reader: Zabira

Fandoms: mostly due South

Reasons: Zabira used to be the queen of dS fics for me. I was looking forward to every podfic she posted because nobody could do funny as she did. It's too bad that she's another podficcer who stopped reading stories. She was amazing.

Rec: "Gun, With Occasional Kangaroo" by punk. It has marsupials! And Frannie reading a romance novel with a half-naked RCMP officer on the cover! And Romeo and Juliet, high as kites! What's there not to love? It's my "pick-up" podfic, I listen to it whenever I feel down and blue...
