The last three eps of the 5th season were awesome. There was action, banter, friendship and brotherly love and the stories were intriguing, too. Wow!

I'm really glad that there'll be season 6! I'm even tempted to buy this one on DVD, it's really good.

Interesting episodes. Although I have to say that watching 519, I mostly thought "Where's Colby?" And watching 520, I didn't fear for Don or anything, although I usually love h/c, I was mostly "Colby looks gorgeous" and I loved the little chats he and David had, all quiet and intense. But I did feel sad for Charlie. Everybody wants something from him without realizing that he does have a life and a work of his own. The desperate look he gave Don at the very end broke my heart :'(

Good -> CBS renewed Numb3rs for a 6th season. More Colby and David, yay!

Bad --> CBS axed Eleventh Hour :'( I loved Hood and Rachel!

Other shows axed: Without a Trace, The Unit, Privileged, Medium (could be picked up by CBS and paired up with Ghost Whisperer, though)...

Also, season finale of NCIS and The Mentalist tonight!

Ep 517 --> boring: I mean... )

Ep 518 --> the case was nothing special but if I weren't a David/Colby shipper before this ep, I sure would be now - and Colby wasn't even in it! They really went there! ) See the goofy smile on my face? XP

This chart shows what a promo spot costs aired during various TV shows. You know what's crazy? Supernatural has the third cheapest spots on the CW - right after their failing The Game and Privileged. Even Stylista, a complete bomb if there was a one, demanded more for a spot than their frickin' third most popular show! This is insane!

And another insane thing? According to one comment in the PiFeedback forum, CBS' next season's programing schedule was leaked and... and... They want to air the NCIS spin-off on Sunday! They want to split NCIS and The Mentalist, the most successful combo they have, and air TM on Thursday at 10pm! They want to air Criminal Minds at 8pm - I don't think that CM with its gruesome murders is an 8pm show. And Numb3rs will only get half a season? Sheesh! I mean, the only positive thing is that it looks like Eleventh Hour will be back. But other than that... I really do hope that this a mistake!

* I'm now the proud owner of SG-1 S4&5 on DVD!

* I started reading James Swallow's SGA tie-in "Nightfall".

* I watched two eps of Numb3rs last night, only four more to go and I'm all caught up:
-> 513... )
-> 514... )

* [livejournal.com profile] juice817 posted the most awesome LA con reports about Jared, Jensen, Misha etc.!

... Numb3rs now. I just watched eps 511 and 512.

My spoilery thoughts... )

You know, I really don't like the fact that Don and Charlie aren't even brothers anymore. Or at least it feels so to me. I mean, the whole point of the show used to be the brothers finding their way back to each other after being apart for years. But now... they can go almost a whole ep without even meeting. The last scenes in the eps are usually with Charlie, Amita, Larry and Alan. It's like Don doesn't even belong anymore. I don't know if it's his sudden obsession with God, his new found love for Robyn or the writers just decided to drop the brother point completely...

These days, I watch N3 for Colby and David. They are simply awesome together. They show more care for each other than Don and Charlie and that's, on the one hand, really cool, on the other hand it's really sad :(

Numb3rs!

509, Conspiracy Theory: An interesting ep. My favorite part? David's "Colby is still in there!" \o/ Yes, the only slash that I could see on Numb3rs is David/Colby, so scenes like that? Are made of awesome for me \o/

510, Frienemies: A good ep. What I liked best was Charlie learning about Don going to the temple and Don calling Charlie "Chuck" XD

I'm all caught up on Numb3rs now *rubs hands*

I liked the ep a lot, minus Nikki's right-wing propaganda that is. But Colby and David? They were made of love \o/

My spoilery thoughts... )

A really good episode with a lot of cute character moments.

Ratings: 11.23 mil., 2.5/8 demo; last week: 9.27 mil., 2.1/7 demo

* Numb3rs, ep 509 - I liked the ep as a whole. There weren't any real squee moments for me but it was a very good ep in general. Some nice team!moments, some nice background info and the last scene on the beach was made of win!
Ratings: 9.27 mil., 2.1/7 demo, last week: 11.21 mil., 2.6/8 demo

* Temperatures below zero for the first time this year! The sun is shining outside but everything is covered in frost! My dog loves it! ;P

* So, LJ is moving today? Hm, I really hope that they will be more successful than Streamload/MediaMax/TheLinkUp, because that one? Disaster doesn't even begin to cover it. So, should LJ be swallowed by a huge black hole today, you can find me over on InsaneJournal too :)

Numb3rs 506, my spoilery thoughts... )

House 501 and 502 )

Ratings: 501 - 14.41 mil., 5.5/16 demo; 502 - 12.14 mil., 4.9/14 demo

2 eps watched, 4 to go *cracks knuckles*

Ratings: 10.62 mil., 2.3/8 demo

And wow! The repeat of NCIS won the overall Friday night's ratings with 11.21 mil., 2.3/8 demo. Yes, a repeat of my lovely NCIS was the most watch and best rated show of the evening! Wow \o/
katikat: (Default)
SGA, ep 513 )

Numb3rs, ep 504 )

Ratings: 9.07 mil., 2.2/7

Eleventh Hour, ep 103 )

Ratings: 12.16 mil., 3.1/8

Of these three eps that I watched today, I liked Eleventh Hour's one best!

Oh, and I have got a new layout \o/ *blushes*

Ep 502, my spoilery thoughts... )

Ratings: 8.03 mil., 2.2/7

Ep 503, my spoilery thoughts... )

Ratings: 8.60 mil., 2.1/7

Also, I tried the show My Own Worst Enemy. I gave it two eps but as much as I like Christian Slater and spy/action stuff in general, I found this show boring and pointless. Also, I don't think it'll last anyway. It started with 7.30 mil., 3.0/8 but in the second week it dipped to 5.72 mil., 2.5/6 demo. But with the state of the television affairs this season, who knows...

ETA: Oh my, the CW is in trouble...
Privileged (new) 1.47 mil., 0.7/2
Stylista (premiere) 2.46 mil., 1.2/3

Somebody, please, stop me - I'm seriously thinking of buying The Nanny S1 on DVD. I added it to my Amazon wish list! >.< I always loved Fran and Mr. Sheffield but especially Niles and Miss Babcock! Those two simply rocked my socks. I watch the show every week-day on TV during lunch these days and my fingers fairly itch to have it on DVD!

Also, yay, new Numb3rs tomorrow - yes, I decided to keep watching even though the show was kinda losing me the last season or two. My brotherly love started to shift from Charlie to Don, to be honest, because Charlie's love trouble with Amita started to get on my last nerve.

And Sanctuary starts too! I really hope that this show will be good. I never saw the webisodes so I have no real idea what it's about but it has Amanda Tapping in it so I will give it a try...

I got to finally watch the season finale of Numb3rs.

My spoilery thoughts... )

I finished reading book 6 of Tohko Mizuno's "In a Distant Time" (Harukanaru toki no naka de...). It had a very interesting Tomomasa story (in the anime it was actually Takamichi's story). But what really got me was the bonus story set in "In a Distant Time II" that takes place 100 years later. It was the story of how the pirate Jade and the Prefect Fujiwara na Yukitaka met (in German, his title was Sicherheitschef but I doubt that he would be Security Chief in English, so I chose the title Prefect). Oh my, those two could actually make me want to write yaoi once more! *drools*

There's the promo for this week's SGA! Awesome, it really looks awesome. I can see especially one person on my flist being insanely happy with that *eyes [livejournal.com profile] kirusai*

And Pop Culture Zoo's interview with the SGA actors at this year's Comic Con is so much fun. I love how funny Joe Flanigan is and his deadpan answer "I sleep with everyone." XD The interview isn't spoilery at all, so have no fear there :)

Numb3rs:
4x17, Pay to Play:I finally watched the ep. Hm, all I get to say is: Agent Ellison from T:SCC! Other than that, meh. Left me cold. Rappers gunning for each other is so cliche.

Scarecrow and Mrs. King:
1x07, Service Above and Beyond: So, so good. When they poisoned Amanda and Lee took her in his arms and carried her down the stairs and to the music room to get the guy to tell him what they had given her... Aww, my heart melted!

1x08, Saved by the Bells: Hilarious! Amanda mistaken for the Scarecrow because she was feeding Lee's fish! XP Lee cares so much for her...
