This one was actually written for me, so it is tailor made to exactly what I love about Dean/Castiel-- but a slow progression of Dean and Castiel developing feelings for one another, and plenty of crack.

Unusual apocafic with a really lyrical style.
Anywhere but Here () by strangeandcharm Dean Winchester discovers that the grass is always greener on the other side of the timeline.
strangeandcharm is very talented and prolific-- a lot of the stories are long verses. This was a stand alone story where 'our' Castiel (who is in an established relationship with Dean) ends up in an alternate universe where Sam went to hell and was rescued by Castiel instead. He meets that universe's Dean who is a prisoner of Lucifer.
