Okay, I don't get squeamish easily but Douglass' "StarMan" made me literally gag.
So, Axis is lying there, his body burned to a charred corpse, his flesh is rotting away, skin rubbing off in rags, and Azhure, to heal him, lies next to him rubs her naked body against him and kisses his putrid burns and wounds...
*gags* Okay, that's simply too much even for me. Axis is basically a living soul in a rotting corpse that's falling apart - it was said so in the book - and if what's Azhure is doing isn't borderline necrophilia then I don't know what is *gags some more*
