Last night I watched - to [livejournal.com profile] kirusai's delight - SGA's Miller's Crossing. Wow! Totally floored me. Folks who saw that ep probably know what I'm talking about...

John talked Wallace into sacrificing himself. Wow. No matter what John said - "I presented a situation, he volunteered" - he basically talked a man into committing a suicide so that McKay wouldn't have to. Because John knew that Rodney really would do it to save his sister! The look on John's face when Rodney told him that he wanted the Wraith to feed of him! The utter shock and John's refusal to allow it. Did you notice how suspiciously wet John's eyes were in that scene? And Rodney's shock when he entered the lab and found them carting away the body sack! And the very last scene! Rodney knew what John did for him and he actually said it aloud! Mr. Denial and Avoidance went to his friend and addressed it! And John's adamant denial that he didn't do anything. Can you imagine living with such guilt? But facing the possibility of losing Rodney... Wow.

Wow, like really. If that doesn't prove how much John values Rodney's friendship then I don't know what does... Wow.

And by friendship, you mean their hot, sexy, so married-it's-in-your-face LOVE, right, right??? (j/k)

So proud you watched it. It was a perfect episode for the both of them - JFlan did a marvelous job in that scene, and the Hewletts rocked the ep with their awesome sibling chemistry.
