Highlander: The Raven 109-113
Ah, this show makes me so happy. Because I'm very shallow and Amanda and Nick look so attractive doing stuff like stealing and sneaking around and killing bad guys, both in dark leather and sunglasses, he usually all dark, she with her silvery hair... SMOKIN'!
And I love just how far they are willing to go to protect each other. Like, she pretended to be dead to keep him save - but, of course, it didn't even occur to her that he would go after an IMMORTAL to avenge her. And then HE got shot and pretended to be dead! Or when that crazy immortal bitch was sent to kill Nick - and Amanda pulled out her sword and told that woman that she would have to go through her to get to Nick! Yeah, it's all fun and games until someone threatens Nick's life. Then Amanda goes even after her old friends and chops their heads off if they even think of hurting Nick. It's so sweet.
And it was good to see Joe Dawson again. But boy, he must have felt like a marriage councilor, trying to talk sense into Nick and Amanda! I loved it when Joe yelled at Amanda when she was all surprised that Nick went after the man who had supposedly killed her, like, dudette! What did you expect?! Nick killed the man who murdered his partner! He told you that if someone killed his wife, he would shoot them point blank! It's funny that Amanda still doesn't get that Nick would do anything, literally ANYTHING, from compromising his own ideals to killing, for her! And vice versa, of course.
Also, I really love Hannes Yaenicke who plays Bert Meyers!
