As If Mark Ruffalo Hadn't Rocked Before...

So, a certain reporter told Mark Ruffalo about "Science Bros" AKA the Tony Stark/Bruce Banner slash. They showed him FANART! And Mark's reaction?

"I've never Googled myself on the Internet," he told us. Does that mean he's never heard of "Science Bros," an Internet subculture celebrating the friendship of Bruce Banner and Tony Stark, the characters Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. played in The Avengers? "No, what is that?" he asked. And then the giggles began.

If you're as unfamiliar as Ruffalo was, feel free to Google image search "Science Bros" for a moment: You'll find all sorts of fan art — some cute, some sexual — that pairs Ruffalo and Downey Jr.'s superhero BFFs. When we brought it up on our phone, Ruffalo could hardly believe it. "Are you joking?" he asked as he began scrolling through the images. "There's all this art of me and Robert?" Giggles gave way to full belly laughter. A concerned publicist came over, though Ruffalo was laughing so hard that he could barely explain himself to her.

"Is that a cartoon of you?" she asked.

"Yes! It's me and Robert! Look at this! There's thousands of them!" Ruffalo tried to contain himself. "It's called the Science Bros. This is awesome. I've never heard of it. Why hasn't anyone told me about that?"

He kept scrolling. A pertinent question suggested itself. "So, are they all quasi-homoerotic?" he asked. "Like tinged with … " Yup. "That's cute!" He alighted on a drawing of Stark leaning onto Banner's shoulder suggestively, offering him something out of a bag. "Would you like a gummy worm?" Ruffalo murmured, supplying his own caption.

Is he now a Science Bros shipper, then? "Yeah! I love it; it's awesome," Ruffalo enthused. "I endorse it 100 percent. You know what it is? It's open-source creativity." And here's a scenario for the fans to contemplate: Ruffalo couldn't wait to drop his newfound knowledge bomb on Downey Jr. "I'm going to call him and tell him, and he's going to laugh his ass off," Ruffalo said. "He'll love that."

Gosh, I love him so much. He's the main reason why I want to see Now You See Me in the cinema!

Fast & Furious 7 News

I'm pretty much focused on my anticipation for Star Trek Into Darkness right now, though in my country, Fast & Furious 6 will be out first, this week, actually. So, some FF news: link.

- Over 90% of the testing audience called FF6 just as good or even better than FF5!
- FF7 will start filming this September at the latest for a July 11 2014 release!
- Dwayne Johnson will be involved even though the schedule clashes with his Hercules movie.
- Justin Lin won't be back as the director, James Wan will take over.

Hm, I'm not sure about them rushing it so much. On the other hand, Star Trek took a break of 4 years and I think it hurt the franchise more than it helped. When you have the goodwill of fans, use it. So... In Vin Diesel I trust, I guess.

NCIS: LA 423

I blame you for this! )

So... I guess the season finale reflected the whole season. I would give it a C. At the best. What a mess.

Can Michelle please just go away? The whole Sam/Michelle marriage/undercover shtick bored me to tears. Aunjanue Ellis and LL Cool J have zero chemistry. Zip, nada. Half the time, the actress looks bored out of her mind. I don't know if she got the job based on audition or because of her overall deal with the CBS, as a consolidation price for being dropped from The Mentalist or what, but as Michelle Hanna, she's BAD! I hope this whole thing with Sidorov is over and dealt with in the season premiere. I can't take much more of it.

The only good things were the handful of episodes that focused either on Deeks or Callen. The rest...

So, yeah. A C it is!

Supernatural 822+823

You know, sometimes I feel like Dean is the only sane person around O.o )

You know what I wonder? Where God actually is. The way Metatron described him? I'm now more convinced than ever that it would be perfect if it were Dean, if that were the reason why everybody gravitated towards him. That would be actually pretty cool!

Overall, I would give this season a B. There were things that bothered me but it was a major step-up from S7. I adored the addition of Benny, the growth of Cas, Crowley and Charlie... The Men of Letters... Definitely a step-up! And I love that I have no idea where Jeremy Carver plans to take everybody next.
