Manga, manga!

If you could choose only one manga from all the mangas you've read and bought, only one manga you could recommend to your friends, only one manga that you could swear was really worth the money to buy... which one would it be?

For me, the decision was simple - Gorgeous Carat by Yuu Higuri. GC is excellent, has an intriguing story and the drawings are simply amazing. It depicts the story of Noi, the master thief of Paris at the end of the 19th century, and Florian (or Floréan as it is translated in the German version of the manga I own), the young aristocrat whom Noir bought from his mother. It is and it is not a yaoi manga. There are definitely m/m hints there between the two male protagonists but nothing actually happens between them. And then there is the main baddie of the story - the dark-skinned, white-haired, blue-eyed Azura, a friend turned enemy. He is as evil as he is beautiful and his main goal it is to make the lives of Noir and Florian miserable.

The English version of this manga should appear soon and I recommend to you wholeheartedly to buy it. If you like ukes in distress and a lot of h/c, then this is the manga for you.
