Supernatural 822+823

I usually don't pay much attention to stuff like that but I think they quite overdid it with the "bitches" and "whores" these last two episodes. They should really tone it down.

I didn't like how everybody behaved towards Kevin. I mean, seriously, the guy lost his mother and almost his sanity for you. What ELSE do you want? But I liked that he was witness to the angels' fall, seeing it from the bunker. Sweet!

I'm glad that Dean didn't just forgive Cas this time. Because Cas screwed up big time. With the tablet, then with Metatron... Why doesn't Cas simply listen to Dean, for Christ's sake?! If your human friend tells you something is a bad idea, then it probably is!

The last episode felt like Dean was running around, plugging leaks. With Cas, with Metatron, with Sam, with Crowley...

I'm glad that Crowley survived. Though I wonder if the effect of Sam's blood will keep, at least for a while. Or if it will dissipate. And if what Crowley felt, his remorse, will mess with his head.

Gosh, the angels' falling was beautifully done, wasn't it?

You know what I wonder? Where God actually is. The way Metatron described him? I'm now more convinced than ever that it would be perfect if it were Dean, if that were the reason why everybody gravitated towards him. That would be actually pretty cool!

Overall, I would give this season a B. There were things that bothered me but it was a major step-up from S7. I adored the addition of Benny, the growth of Cas, Crowley and Charlie... The Men of Letters... Definitely a step-up! And I love that I have no idea where Jeremy Carver plans to take everybody next.
