The Listener 106-109
Toby is a great telepath - but an awful paramedic, let me tell you. They just come to the scene and go "Yup, he's dead." And that's it? They don't even try to revive the guy? Here, paramedics keep trying up to 40 minutes or even longer to get someone going again. Toby and Oz? Nope. LOL! Television, you gotta love it :P
The most interesting scene? With the raped girl. I mean, it's all fun and games to be a telepath. But to relive something like that through someone else's eyes? No wonder Toby almost started hyperventilating. Or when he admitted to Charlie that he had read one of his step-fathers' mind, what the guy had wanted to do to him... Sheesh. It was also interesting when they talked about Toby's telepathy, whether it's just an invasion of privacy or a violation. As Toby said, he can't just turn it off, not entirely. When people yell their thoughts, he will hear them, he can't shield himself from that.
My favorite guest character was Andy, the guy with the multiple personality disorder. It was really crowded inside his head for Toby.
I'm really loving the series! 4 more eps to go and I'm done with S1 :)
