NCIS 1005 -1007

1005:
- Wow, Gibbs' father looked old. I mean, I know that he IS old but compared to last year? Wow, huge difference. Last year, his father looked old BUT strong and healthy. In this ep, he looked literally fragile.
- What a great tribute this episode was. Some injustices still present in our world today are shocking. That it took the government 50 years to amend that... Not cool :-(
- But Tony and the bit with McGee's take-out? Really? REALLY, writers? :-/

1006-1007:
- I loved the scene where Tony talked to Ziva about his mother. And then when she talked to him about her sister. And what he did for her at the end of 1007. I love them when they're like that, really sweet together, not just played up for the laughs.
- I liked that the brother stuck with the General. Though when they used a quite famous TV face for their father, I thought they would use him in more than two scenes. Oh well...

You know, I just read an article about Tony and Ziva where Gary Glasberg, the exec, said they wanted to move slow with them. DUDE! Glaciers move faster than you do with these two! Either commit to it or drop it. It feels like they want to do and do not at the same time, afraid they would alienate a big portion of their audience either way. And so they tread in place which is not fair to any side. Personally, I would love to see them together but I can handle it if they don't become an item, it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. But this coy teasing is annoying. Some writers just don't know when to quit and give the viewers a pay-off (see Merlin and his powers).
