Marple: Murder Is Easy
I'm a big fan of Geraldine McEwan's Miss Marple but considering that Benedict Cumberbatch played one of the main parts in Murder Is Easy, I gave it a try even though it's the Julia McKenzie series. And I really liked it!
The plot had so many twists and turns and there were SO many bodies. I mean, sheesh, it seemed like the murderer was after the whole village! Yes, I know that murder is not funny but the way the culprit was going through the villagers, it was a wonder anybody was left alive by the end of the episode!
And then, of course, there was the gorgeous, fantastic Benedict Cumberbatch:

Man, he was awesome! He played a former detective who used to live in India, Luke Fitzwilliam, and who helped Miss Marple find the culprit. And who fell in love with the beautiful Bridget, an independent American woman searching for her birth parents. I actually wanted to know more about these two, how their romance continued, if they met again and how! The Marple series has the best and most interesting/unusual romances, hands down!
And the best guest stars! There was Russell Tovey (who then later on guest starred in Benedict's Sherlock) and Anna Chancellor (who played Benedict's mother in Fortysomething)! The world of the British TV is sure small :P
Also, my favorite quote:

Luke: You don't look batty.
Marple: Thank you.
Luke: Though appearances might be deceiving.
