NCIS:LA 306-310

Aaaaaaaaaand I'm all caught up on NCIS:LA...

306: I liked the part with Hetty, learning more about her past, seeing her be all bad-ass. That was sweet!

307: My favorite episode of the bunch. The team being all modern ninjas, having a plan worthy of the A-Team, Erik and Nell being all awesomely undercover - and guest starring Drew Fuller! This episode gave me a real giddy feeling, maybe because it had a lot of humor and it wasn't about Islamic terrorists for once!

308: The whole thing with the box was pretty interesting, how they kept finding bodies and the box gone. Reminded me of the karobka episode of Strange Luck.

309: I ffwded through the Sam/female guest star scenes because I could see where it was headed and I hate betrayal, even if meant well. But it was great to see Callen backing up Sam in such a great way. But I have to say, Sam didn't look all that happy returning to his family. Reminded me of Tony with Jean in NCIS or Michael with that terrorist's daughter in La Femme Nikita. Or Auggie with that female journalist in Covert Affairs. Slipping on the "domestic life" like another cover.

310: Awesome Deeks episode. It felt really strange to me, the way both Callen and Sam were so indifferent to Deeks leaving. And when the AHA! moment came, it all made sense. And when Deeks then landed himself in a real heap of trouble, there was nothing indifferent about Callen and Sam rushing to his rescue together with Kensi.

You know, I'm feeling a slight shift here. I got into this series because I really loved Callen and Sam - and I still do, believe me. But I'm now more interested in Kensi and Deeks and their partnership. It feels like these two are getting all the "good" storylines lately, if you know what I mean.
