Aww... I just adore the genuine care and tenderness that's hidden beneath Jim's bigger-than-life ego. And, of course, top!Jim/bottom!Bones is always hot! ;)
Bones doesn’t know why anyone would want to be with him, or stand up for him. He doesn’t know why Jim would want him, when he can have almost anyone. It isn’t false modesty or anything like that; he really doesn’t get it. And the sheer wrongness of that pierces Jim’s soul, makes him want to howl in frustration.
