I haven't seen anything OOC in your fics at all, and I'm incredibly fussy. ;) (ETA: in the gen/lower rated White Collar ones I've read)

Is long as no one ends up acting like Neal (or any other character) can't take care of himself I'm fine with other characters being protective (to a point).

And really the last scene of the final proves Neal needs saving. :)
