True. But I feel that that's the point that I push most in my fics - protective!Peter. Every time I write a fic like that, I fear that I'm sliding into the OOC category - but then I re-watch the show and realize that he really IS that protective, especially of Neal. As Shea said: Neal really is this show's "damsel in distress" XP It's just, when I write h/c or angst, it's hard to let them show emotions without making them OOC.
